ALMOND + VANILLA CHIA BIRCHER

 

Simple but delicious, this recipe will set you up for the day with omega packed chia seeds and our Almond M*lk with Vitamin E. Now you might be thinking there are plenty of bircher recipes out there, but this one has a perfect crunchy texture with a creaminess and sweetness – give it a try, you won’t regret it!

This recipe makes 2 breakfasts and will last for a few days in the fridge.

INGREDIENTS: 

½ cup oats (45g)

heaped tablespoons chia seeds

1 tablespoon raspberries berries

1 teaspoon sweetener of choice

1 apple, finely diced

1 ½ cups Plenish almond milk(350ml)

a few drops of vanilla extract

a pinch of sea salt

METHOD:

Finely dice the apple, discarding the core.

Add all the ingredients to a large bowl and mix together.

Store in a Tupperware in the fridge overnight and enjoy the next morning (as well as the one after, and the one after that!)

Come breakfast or snack time, top with cinnamon, fresh berries, walnuts and enjoy!
